Brand Receives Bronze Putra Brand Award and World Halal Best Brand from The Brand Laureate.
ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — At the end of September, Texas Chicken™ in Malaysia received two recognitions for its quality performance throughout all restaurants in the region. The Putra Brand awards, which is a people’s choice-style award, and The BrandLaureate World Halal Brand of the Year award accorded by The World Brands Foundation.

Texas Chicken Malaysia received a Bronze award in the Restaurants & Fast Food Category from Putra Brand Awards. The winners are solely determined by consumer voting from a pool of approximately 9,000 respondents. This is the first time that Texas Chicken has been named as one of the winners, which positions it as one of the favorite quick-service restaurants in Malaysia. The World Brands Foundation awarded Texas Chicken Malaysia with the World Halal Best Brand for its commitment to upholding halal status and meeting the stringent requirements set by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM). This is the first time Texas Chicken has received this award.
