Korea, as one of the countries that is participating and supporting the 2018 Asian Games, is also presenting many interesting events to visitors.
Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation ("aT"), together with Korea Creative Content Agency, presents K-Food & Content Festival during the 2018 Asian Games (18 August – 2 September 2018).
The event was located at fX Sudirman, which was a convenient choice for visitors of the GBK area and its surrounding neighbourhood. Different Korean food and beverages are also presented at this festival, ranging from instant food to various Korean health drinks.
The food products presented at this event are divided into 4 categories: Red & Hot Zone, Halal Food, Rising Star Food, and Miracle Food. Visitors can buy the desired product directly in the K-Food & Content Festival booth area with attractive promotions.
On Saturday & Sunday (25-26/8), visitors at the K-Food & Content Festival booth area were given the opportunity to taste the traditional Korean food, such as Bibimbap, for free.
The bibimbap-making event on Saturday was directly guided by young chef, Jun Cheff, from Korea who also own a restaurant in the Senopati area. He’s also popular among K-Pop lovers in Indonesia. This talented young chef also has a YouTube channel with more than 200 thousand subscribers.
"The event that was held by the aT this time, not only enlivens the Asian Games 2018, but also introduces Korean products to Indonesian people," said Director of aT, Mr Nam Taek Hong. "All products presented here are halal certified products."

Mr. Greg Kim, Regional Director of KOCCA Indonesia, hopes that this festival can be enjoyed by visitors of the Asian Games because it is located not far from the GBK stadium and can provide a pleasant experience with the best content of South Korea.
"KOCCA brought the latest 11 types of VR games directly from Korea for this event. We believe that after the popularity of K-Pop and K-Drama, the VR era will also happen in Indonesia," said Julia Joo as KOCCA Marketing Manager on Sunday 26 August.
The popular drama special exhibition is the first that is held in Indonesia, which shows the original costumes that appeared in the MBC TV drama, such as costumes that artist Kim Soo Hyun & Han Ga-in wore in the drama "The Moon that Embraces the Sun", the original costumes of Suzy & Lee Seung Gi in the drama "Gu Family Book" as well as the original costumes of artist Yoo Seung Ho & Kim So Hyun in the drama "Ruler: Master of the Mask".
